Basic information for all rehearsals & performances:
Be on time and wear comfortable clothing!
Since our rehearsal site is not air-conditioned, please bring cold water to help keep you hydrated.
Bring your instrument and all necessary supplies such as valve oils, cork grease, reeds, etc.
Bring all music that are working on.
If you need or feel more comfortable with a fingering chart, please feel free to bring one.
Rehearsals are for listening and making music while social time is for talking.
Thursdays, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Spring Harbor Middle School, 1110 Spring Harbor Dr., Madison 53705. This is north of University Avenue and just west of Whitney Way. Enter through the main entrance. The band room is to the left of the stairs. Rehearsals will be cancelled whenever school and evening extra curricular activities are cancelled by the Madison School District.
Our next concert venue has not been set. Suggestions for future concert venues are welcome. As we move forward, our goal is to have one concert per quarter.
Additional news & information:
We were very honored to receive a start-up grant of from the New Horizons International Musical Association and Hooked on Bands, Madison, Wisconsin. These grants have enabled us to purchase a high quality snare drum and set of bells. When additional grants are awarded additional percussion instruments will be purchased.
Summer Rehearsal Session:
Registration is now open for our summer session. Rehearsals will be held on July 12 & 26; August 9 & 23; September 6, 13, 20 & 27. The cost of the session is available on our Fees page.
